About Clyde Boiston
Clyde Boiston is a Mindfulness teacher, meditation instructor, and Mindful Living Coach who presents retreats, workshops, and classes to individuals, businesses, and the community both inside walls as well as immersed out of doors in Nature. He and his wife own and operate Bel Wellness, a healing arts mind-body wellness studio in Riverside, CA which offers classes in Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Yoga, Pilates, Mindfulness, and Meditation.
For the past 30 years, Clyde has also worked professionally as a licensed Physical Therapist and has experience in a wide range of clinical practice settings. His deep interest in meditation began a decade ago when he was struggling with his own personal issues of burnout from the stresses, demands, and expectations of working as a healthcare professional. This is when he began his journey by attending the first of many 7 and 10-day silent Vipassana meditation retreats, usually spent sitting out of doors in the quiet beauty of the natural world.
Before completing Mark Coleman’s Awake In The Wild Training in 2023, Clyde received his Certification as a Mindfulness Facilitator (CMF) from UCLA’s Mindful Awareness Research Center (MARC) in 2017 following the completion of their own year-long teacher training program. He has also been trained as a professional coach through the Mindful Attentionist Coaching (MAC) program created and taught by 40-year practitioner Mitra Manesh, as well as being certified as a Tai Chi For Rehabilitation instructor since 2018 through Australia’s Tai Chi For Health Institute.
What Clyde brings to his teachings is a seamless and heartfelt blending of meditation practices, mindful movement, and a deep understanding of the mystery and sacredness of Nature which is alive somewhere deep inside each of us.
